Collection: Azulerde

Azulerde emerged as a mere concept back in 2015, but it wasn't until 2017 that the brand truly materialised. Karla Batista, the brand's founder, hails from the beautiful state of Pernambuco and is a proud black woman. She envisioned a project that would serve as a vibrant hub for exchanging ideas and nurturing creative processes.

Azulerde, as a brand, draws inspiration from the world of visual arts to redefine contemporary aesthetics, bridging diverse artistic perspectives and celebrating Afro-futuristic representation. We are deeply committed to sustainable production, which is why we embrace the upcycling approach by incorporating solid waste materials into our designs. So, when you purchase one of our pieces, you're not just taking home an earring; you're carrying a cause—a symbol of Afro-contemporary art with a powerful political statement.
